What Rich People Did That We Never Do

After watching many interviews of the rich, it dawned on me that most of them did something we fear doing.  This thing is part of what made them rich.

Before they were successful, many rich individuals spent most of their money on their businesses/dreams, and after a period of 4 to 10 years, they became millionaires.

For this reason, the main difference between us and the financially successful is that we mostly invest in our social status while they invest in business projects. When we receive our incomes, we only think about going out, decorating our homes, and doing anything that instantly improves our lifestyles.

Deep down inside, we know we must constantly invest a large part of our income in businesses/projects for us to be rich. However, we waste our income on useless things because we want to look rich

We prefer spending on expensive drinks, cool gadgets, and spacious homes because these things boost our social status. We are unwilling to sacrifice a ‘cool lifestyle’ because we want everybody to know that our life is good. We are unaware that the rich had to embrace frugality for a while.

A few months ago, my sister told me about his workmate, who purchased a commercial bus because he was ready to live frugally. He took a huge loan to buy this vehicle, and every month, the bank deducted a large part of his income, forcing him to walk to work every day. He also had to live in a cheap apartment and wear cheap clothes while his workmates wore designer clothes and lived in expensive apartments.

After two years, he paid off his loan, and started earning $ 100/ Kshs 10,000 a day from the bus. The guy eventually earned more than his workmates because he was willing to live frugally for two years. He never feared to appear broke. He’s an example of the few people ready to give up a cool lifestyle to secure a better future.

There is no other way. We just have to continually invest in our projects/dreams for us to get rich. The more we invest, the quicker we move towards financial success. It’s hard to do so, but I believe we can do it.
